At Child Link, we place a high value on our community's ongoing support and involvement.

Child Link is extremely grateful for the support we receive, which is why we gladly hold campaigns and fun events for the community to participate in. We greatly appreciate all of our many donors who lend vital assistance.

We invite everyone to participate in our upcoming campaign events and drives! All proceeds and donations go directly to helping our children in need, and those in our program who have found themselves in unfortunate and difficult situations.

We thank you for your involvement. Help us continue to show our children and youth that they can, and will, achieve success through youth guidance provided by Child Link!

Baby Supplies

Child Link is in great need of new or rarely used items for our newborns, infants, and toddlers. These items include diapers, bottles, cribs, play mats, swings, and especially car seats. Please contact us if you have items you would like to donate.

We currently care for over three hundred children, including infants. Car seats, strollers, and other baby supplies are desperately needed. State budget cuts have seriously affected our agency. For each foster care child, we are now given $1/month for baby equipment and $1/month for clothing, which includes shoes and coats. In attempts to make up for the loss in revenue, Child Link holds a Baby Supply Drive, which has proven very successful, thanks to the sponsorship from area organizations such as LaGrange Area Newcomers and Neighbors.

COVID UPDATE: Due to the ongoing pandemic we have paused our acceptance of physical donations.

Back to School Supply Drive

You can help us make learning better for our foster kids and youth by providing the necessary supplies to succeed in school. The School Supply Drive for this year begins July 1st.

We accept donations for the following:

K – 2 grade, 3 – 5 grade, 6 – 8 grade and 9 – 12 grade

Holiday Toy Drive

Do you remember getting up on Christmas morning to open your presents? It was so exciting to see the tree lit up with lots of presents underneath – many children don’t have that experience. With nearly 500 children in our foster care programs, we have a lot of gifts to buy, and we could really use your help! Each year, we collect unwrapped toys and gifts for the children of Child Link. We want to make sure that every child at the agency has a gift to open.

There are two ways you can help. You can either host a toy drive at your office, church, book club, or group of friends, or give a charitable donation! You can also buy gifts individually and have them dropped off at our main office.

More details, such as drop-off deadlines and volunteer dates, are provided closer to the Holiday season.
